1953 ford COE, titled as such, the cab was bought from the second owner who had bought it in 1954. It is on a shortened 1992 dodge D350 Cummins chassis that had 198k miles, triangulated four link rear end, full air ride, custom built bed, custom built running boards, custom built "tailgate/roll pan" has new pads and rotors in the front, power brakes, power steering, 15 gallon fuel cell recessed in the bed, New dolphin gauges that light up, speedometer doesn't have a cable, leather seats out of a 2014 Chevy Cruz, driver seat is power and adjustable up and down as well, 22.5" aluminum semi Alcoa milled down to 22 inch, headlights for a jeep, so they're nice and bright and have the blue LED rings to a separate switch. No blinkers, and still need brighter brake light bulbs, but the brake lights are wired up, radiator has a slow drip when running, passenger door latch is an old deadbolt style latch, driver door we bungee cord shut. We have driven it on the road for short trips up to about 50mph, haven't gone anywhere where we've gone faster. The donor was a good running driving truck so I wouldn't see any issues with this. We take it to car shows via trailer as it's easier with our kids. The truck isn't perfect and will need things here and there but an awesome truck that gets all the attention you could ever want and more.
