1954 Ford Customline Customline Tudor Description

1954 Ford Customline Tudor. VIN Search is easy to decipher model and specs, Pinetree Green, Y Block, Ect. NiceBODY:The bodywork and paint was done within the last year, decent job, but not show quality. Mild customization-door handles were shaved and head and tail lights slightly altered. Grill is nice, emblems are off. Nice front seat. Needs backseat, window cranks (the windows work), and a rug. The heater core is there but the heat has been disconnected.All Glass good with exception of D/S Window that has a chip at the top(that window also only cranks down 3/4's of the way). The vent window posts were removed in the customization. Bumpers are solid but need re-chrome or paint.Solid Floors, Trunk and Frame. Interior has light wear patina and could be waxed or painted. Dashboard all original and untouched.Car was converted to 12 V with an alternator and only head/running and brake lights are currently wired.DRIVETRAIN:
This is an original Motor and Transmission Car. This car is registered and insured in CT and I drive it on 30 and 60 mile runs on weekends.This car is over 60 years old but rides like a cream puff- smooth. Motor starts and idles consistently.Burns a little oil on the longer trip- standard for this motor type. Transmission shifts smooth and is heavy duty compared to today's standards. Exhaust is there, but I would put a flow master 10 and replace pipe back as it is pitting.I was going to replace rims/tires with late model torque thrust or mustang bullet wheels as fitted, 17" with a 245/45/17 look great (as pictured) 2" spacers needed in front.It currently has rims 14" in front and 15" in back, hence the different caps. You can also go with the white walls and mooncaps, but everyone is different, so before I sink more $ into something I like that others may not, I offer at a workable price. Fuel Tank and Lines were replaced. Car brakes good, booster in good working, non leaking condition. No Power Steering.
OVERALLThis is a great entry level Toy/Daily Driver/Weekend Show runner. It can be taken a step further with the items mentioned. If you are local I can show you the car.
