1963 Ford Other Pickups Description

1963 Ford Econoline pickup 144ci straight 6 3 on the tree 410 gears 7.25 rear end 6 volt wiring 28,000 mile that is al, wild pain, solid truck fun to drive, new starter and solenoid and fuel pumprebuilding carb (float stuck twice last weekend) at a car showhas a few dents in the bed nothing bigTop speed 53, no ac, no radio, no tilt whee, only 3 buttons on the dash
Want to get noticed, want people coming up to you all dayNeed bigger arms buy this truck and you will wave back to people all day making your arms bigger!!solid frame not accidentsI have the original heater boxseats need to be redonewiring is oldmost people put a 302 in these if it does not sell that is what I am doing to it with a trans and a rear end.
I work to much and just want to go cruising on the weekends with the wifethis one needs a little to much work to take long distanceTHank youThere is a minor surface rust below the back window I will take a pic of it tonight that is it I have been pulling the undercoating off from the frame and was going to POR15 and then undercoat that is about 75% doneJust replaced the floor pan behind the drivers seat and the side and back side of the doghouse that had some rust. These were removed replaced and repainted
There are some dents on the bed of the truck I will take pics no holes or rust. On the main floor panel there is minor fiberglass at the X in the floor looks like it was done in the 70's very minor
There is a paint chip in the wheel well on the passenger door and a chip ion the tailgate other than that the paint well it just stands outand the window shield has some silicone in it the gasket needs replacing no leaks
The history on this truck as far as I have found out is in Late 1962 it was ordered and built for military use (Navy you can still see the Navy blue on the back of the ashtray) it was used to move supplies to subs and smaller ships. In the 70's it was sold and pickup by a person that painted it the way it is now after that it (AS I heard) was one in one of the first barrett jackson auction (before the were super big) A friend of Barrett's who buys a lot of vehicles over the years purchased the truck and put it in his collect and stored it for over 25 years or more . One of his friends purchased the vehicle from him under the condition it would only be sold back to him. Well the friend moved to Florida and entered into a few car shows and clubs and then died. I believe his daughter got the truck and I got it from her.
I wanted to criuse in the truck but for me there is to much of pulling the engine, rear end and making a drive shaft to make that happenI have a line on a 240 from pan up to carb 80k on it for 500My wife has lupus she cant drive a stick anymore and the comfort is not there for here (she needs AC so before I totally go nuts i think I want to get rid of it.

if you are looking for certain pic please ask
Make me an offer!!!!
