1989 F450 Super Duty

1989 Ford F-450 Description

This is an old power company truck = fleet maintained, then had a professional flat bed installed = heavy square tube frame then full diamond plate & headache rack welded together with 5th wheel 2 5/8 ball hitch, the bed is 8' x 12'. It also has a rear bumper / trailer hitch welded to frame but no trailer brakes. The engine is fuel injected 7.5 = 460, 5 speed with " I think " dana 80 rear end with 4.88 gears, 4 wheel disk brakes, front & rear anti sway bars. I purchased the truck at an auction so true millage was not available to me but I only put on approx 10K in 15 years. The front 2 tires have less than 100 miles on them. The windshield is cracked and the left running board is included. The floor boards have been patch but was all welded in. The fuel pump relay quite working and is no longer available. This truck has one fuel pump in each tank and one on the frame = 3 pumps. I was going to change over to after market fuel pumps but I don't really use this truck any more so have decided to sell "as is - not running". When it ran it ran good, did not use any oil, I hauled scrap metal or wood with loads up to 7000 lbs with no problems, but like I said it has not run for approx 1 year so I don't know of any issues now.
