1967 Ford Mustang 2+2 Description

NOT a Shelby clone, NOT a Dynacorn reproduction, NOT arebodied coupe. Folks, you HAVE to be careful - there are so manyshadyoperations out there trying to prey on your dream of finding an original 67 Fastback. PLEASE - if you're going to make an investment of this caliber you MUST see the car in person so you know what you're getting. Look at other listings right here on eBay - you'll find a dozen Eleanor clones, several "synthetic" fastbacks, a couple of really nice Shelbys (super!), but few if any genuine 67 Mustang Fastbacks. No black ones. No black ones with 428 CJ engines and a 5-speed. None built to this level. And most of these sellers want >$100,000 . . for what amounts to a "fake".
This is a 100% bonafide 1967 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback. 7T02C157344 Originally a Canary Yellow 289-2V, this Mustang has been meticulously rebuilt for one purpose - a streetbruising, all-business, eye-turning, life-redefining, clear-weather predator. THIS IS NOT A CAR FOR NOVICE DRIVERS OR THOSE WITHOUT MECHANICAL SKILLS. You MUST have SOME skill in tuning and maintaining a high performance street car or at least have a good relationship with a trusted local speed shop.
Many, many details follow - the car will be taken to a local, nationally recognized classic car dealership soon.
Body - much of the heavy lifting was completed by Cobra Restorers in Connecticut. No rustwhatsoever. Anywhere. And this car should NEVER be driven in the rain. Surface/hand washing only.
Engine - short block (428CJ with heavy main webs) prepped by Keith Craft. Aluminum heads built by DSC Motorsports (huge valves, terrific flow). Comp Camshydraulicroller cam with roller rockers (all specs). All assembled by Pierce Racing in Huntersville, NC. Tremec 5-speed, Hurst upper shifter assembly, Strange aluminum rear assembly (3.50), and Southern Rod & Motorsport subframe configuration. 4-wheel manual disc brakes (old school), Flaming River rack/pinion steering (power steering pump installed, not currently used). Most major engine systems controlled at the drivers seat. Wheels and tires are just rollers - most prefer to choose their own wheels, but the ones on the car will work great until you make your personalchoice. Tires are Nexus Z-rated.
Other pieces - Cobra Restorers front racing apron, mechanical and electric fuel pumps, custom fabricated aluminum fuel tank with baffles, Pro Car racing seats with Simpson 5-point harnesses, fiberglass racing rear seat deck (you can put the fold down seat back in at your option, but it adds nearly 100 lbs to the car), MSD 6Aignition system, dual radiator fans, custom aluminum 4-row radiator, Mildon 7qt oil pan with hi vol pump, Holley 750 AED carb, Lokaraccelerator assembly, CSR electric water pump, Wilwood 1 1/8 brakereservoir, hand crafted NASCAR style headers . . . again, way too much to list. Come see the car - but hit the gym and build up your arm strength!!
