1930 Tudor Model A Ford Two Door Sedan
Briggs two door sedan
"A" real unrestored survivor
This is a running 87 year old very solid and unrestored car
Has been in a semi heated garage for the past 35 years (since 1982)
Running and on the road with Current NYS Registration & Inspection
4 - Brand New Tires, Tubes & Rim Liners on 19" Wheels that are true
New Windshield
New NAPA Generic 3-position Light Switch
Horn appears to be a FORD double trumpet aprox 1939 or 1940
Headlights are aftermarket 6 volt conversion sealed beams in original brackets
Brakes are good with New Brake Light Switch (not the cheap one!)
Cowl bottom & door needs a little work
All bright stainless is good
Roof appears to be original (I patched and flex sealed - no leaks)
Roof Bows OK
Wood header over windshield should be replaced
Running boards are tender & are overlaid with sized diamond plate
Fenders have usual wear for being 87 years old
Bumpers - original
Steering wanders a little but responsive
Radiator is original
Carburetor is a Carter aftermarket
Has heater manifold & firewall heater trap door assembly
Starts and runs good.
Aftermarket push starter button
Generator has a real aftermarket regulator on the firewall
Gas tank is very good
Doors open & latch very good
Window risers all work good
GLASS - Side Windows -
Drivers door glass - gone
Drivers rear ¼ - original chipped bad
Passenger door - there and aftermarket cracked
Passenger rear ¼ - original plate
NOTE: Passenger side windows work good & excellent for patterns
Have all interior window trim
Seats & Springs all good and original with various seat covers
Head liner is old home made with hole
Interior side panels appear to be 1956 or 1957 Chevy
Hood - Good
Have 2 wiper motors (unrestored) - hand crank - some tools
4 shocks, arms & aftermarket connectors
Shifts and runs good
Note: Clutch was not blocked while stored but does not slip. I would put a new clutch plate & throw out bearing in if I kept it (a 4 hour job)
Back floorboard original - front floorboard newer plywood (at least 35 years old)
Speedometer, AMP & gas gauges works
Again this is not a restored or rebuilt car by any means. However it is a driver that does get folks attention where ever it takes us.
Reason for selling - Wife thinks I don't really need 4 "Aâ€s on the road.
