1965 Ford Mustang Coupe Description

Pulled out of a barn recently.... Note this will need a full blown restoration. The engine and transmission are not in the car. The original 6cyl was taken apart yrs ago and the trans is gone, but the engine goes with car along and is complete in pieces. The floor pans at the heel section of the floor have been cut out because of some rust, but has good metal all around it. The rest of the floor pans still have factory paint no rust, SEE Pictures. Front Fenders, hood, door bottoms, sill areas are rust free with some surface rust only NO Holes, solid BUT....all have some dents which are fixable. Glass is good no cracks or delamination and all channels are rust free including front and rear with good stainless. Seats only need new covers, bottom tracks springs in good shape. The front shock towers are very solid as well as sub frame metal. THE BAD....the rear spring shackle areas rusted out. The rear springs have been removed and it will need rear new sub frame put in. Both rear quarters have bad rust, see the pictures. The wheel houses may need replaced too. The rear axle is braced in a fixed position. From experience, a restoration would include full body restoration, all new chrome, a complete interior, wheels, tires, guages, radio, headliner, gas tank, wiring.etc. etc. along with a engine and transmission. No Reserve.
