Up for sale is a original 1924 model T Ford. The vehicle was purchased from the estate of an 87-year-old customer and friend. He was the second owner and purchased this Model T when he was 15 years old in 1945 from his neighbor. A true 93-year-old time capsule that was parked in the corner of a garage in 1982 with all fluids drained and covered until June 24, 2017 when purchased from the estate. After installing new fluids and a new 6 V battery, the vehicle was running within four hours of bringing it out of the garage. The vehicle has been driven since then. It is in good original condition, as far as patina and being rust free! There is dust and road dirt under the wheel wells but I didn't even want to wash that off so someone knows truly what they are getting in a car that has been preserved in dry storage for years. All tires hold air, three of them are in good condition, but the right rear tire was flat while sitting in storage. The tread peeled off this tire due to dry rot, but tire tube still holding air. The horn and lights still work and motor starts up and runs. The wood spoked wheels have no rotten wood and are tight! There is no odometer so I don't know the mileage but you can tell car is in very good condition for 93 years old. On Aug-21-17 at 10:18:34 PDT, seller added the following information:
