1989 Ford Crown Victoria LTD LX Description

1989 Ford LTD Crown Victoria

85K original miles
Long term ownership
Incredible service history

Here up for bids is my good ol Crown Vic. This has been my daily driver since last winter, I bought it from the original owner, who only sold it due to her age, having to stop driving at the age of 96! She kept the car in perfect condition, always garaged, always dealer serviced, just a real sweetheart of a car. Another car became available to me (story of my life), hence this sale. If you've been in the market for a square body Crown Vic you probably already know that good ones are hard to find. This one is very close to showroom new and I'm sure that it will make its next owner very happy, it's been a great car for me.

All original paint in "Crystal Blue Metallic". Terrific shine with no hazing or fading, clearcoat is perfect, body is exceptionally straight with no dents. ZERO rust anywhere, including the undercarriage.

Lights and lenses are all excellent.

Exceptionally clean everywhere. Tires have good tread, wheelcovers are like new. The wheel arch trim shows some dings, probably the car's biggest flaw.

All original glass, including the windshield, all of it crystal clear. Padded top and anodized trim all in great shape.

The car comes with a mountain of service records, every record since new. The car was serviced at its original selling dealership, Courtesy Ford here in Portland Oregon. Oil changes were done frequently, regardless of mileage. Looking through the receipts I see a lot of preventative maintenance work done, things like hoses, belts, filters, brakes, coolant flush, trans flush, etc. That's a big reason why this car runs and drives so perfectly, it's been cared for from day one.
Also included is the original window sticker and selling paperwork, as well as 3 sets of keys and all original brochures and manuals.

The window sticker shows the list of standard and optional features, this car is well equipped.

Clean trunk with factory spare and jacking equipment.

The interior is all original and features leather seats, still looking very nice.

The back seat doesn't appear to have been used much.

All electrical equipment in this car functions correctly except for the radio and antenna. The AC blows cold and the heater works effectively. The auto fan function works as well as all plenum movements. Tilt, cruise, auto-headlight, horn, wipers - all functioning as they should, there are no gremlins to chase down here.

Power seats, door locks and windows are working smoothly. Dashtop shows no cracks or splits and features an early example of GPS mounted on top. :-) Headliner is clean with no sagging or tears.

You'll love the way this car drives, I sure have. Starts instantly and runs excellent with all of the power that these 5.0L motors are known for. Whether in the cold of winter or heat of summer, this car has never given me one problem, it can driven any amount of distance in comfort and style.

Clean and original underneath with no rust issues and no leaks, just a really well preserved example of Ford's classic Crown Victoria.
