1966 Ford Mustang custom coupe Description

This 1966 Mustang coupe is one of a kind with shaved door handles and drip rails, and molded front and rear fender extensions. Custom blue paint shines beautifully. Power windows and remote actuated door openers. Completely new drive train has approximately 4000 miles on rebuilt and blue printed 1991 5.0 roller cam engine with forged Mahle 9.5:1 compression pistons with Grafal anit friction coating and new file fit piston rings swinging from polished and shot peened connecting rods with ARP wavelock rod bolts. Edelbrock top end package with Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads, Performer RPM dual plane intake manifold, and Thunder AVS 4 barrel carb. DUI - HEI electronic distributor with rev limiter. Ford AOD 4 speed automatic transmission rebuilt with shift kit and 2400 rpm stall converter. Ford 9 inch rearend with Detroit TruTrac posi differential, 3.50:1 Motive Gear ring and pinion, and Currie 31 spline axles with Wilwood disc brakes with emergency brake. Stainless steel Tri-Y headers flow into 2.5" dual exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. All new front suspension rebuilt with Open Tracker Racing rollerized A arms, pitman arm, steering arm and spring perches which allow the suspension to move freely for better ride and handling, and custom adjustable strut rods. 4 wheel disc brakes with manual dual reservoir master cylinder. 17"x 8" Verde chrome dual 5 spoke wheels with Falken Azenis tires. Custom subframe connectors tie the front and rear frame together and make the car stiff so it handles great. Stock steering box and column. Restored original interior with custom upgraded gauges and tachometer to keep track of vital engine functions. New Wise Guy custom front bucket seats with integrates shoulder harness for improved safety and comfort - much more comfortable than the original bucket seats. New carpet, door panels and head liner. JVC stereo with bluetooth connected to Polk Audio 6x9 speakers in the rear deck and 6" round speakers in the front kick panels - sounds great !! Kicker dual 12" subwoofers mounted in custom box in trunk - not currently working as it needs a new amp. Custom trunk panels hide an Optima red top battery.
