Condition: Vehicle lately HAS BEEN SITTING and has been only run occasionally, so it'll need some work. Expect at minimum to clean or rebuild the carburetor. It wants to start, but I am told that it's not getting the right amount of fuel. Belts should be replaced. Tires have great tread but are old. Primary battery works. Secondary battery (for running 12v accessories when van is off) is old & probably needs replaced if you wish to use that feature. Left tail light cracked. During heavy rains water makes its way into inside of drivers side door, perhaps through window seal. Vinyl of drivers seat is cracking. This custom vehicle was built without a passenger's seat.
It was purchased in 2010 by the organization: at that time carburetor replaced, fuel pump replaced, fuel tank dropped/sandblasted/refinished, new tires. It passed Maryland state safety inspection. However, demand for a mobile classroom was lower than expected and fuel/maintenance costs were higher than our little non-profit could afford, so very few miles were put on it. It was started from time to time to keep the motor running. However, lately we just haven't been doing anything with it. Because nobody has been driving it regularly, I CANNOT say what other work it may need. Come see it and if it's a larger project than you expected, there's no obligation to buy. Any deposit is fully refundable.
I am not a mechanic, so I can only describe what I see to the best of my ability. I am happy to try to answer any questions you may have. If you would like photos of anything specific, just ask.
To be sold as-is / where is, no warranties expressed or implied. Any transportation costs are buyer's responsibility.
ASKING $2,950 or best offer. Vehicle located in Maryland zip code 21911, just 3 miles from Interstate I-95.
