1992 Ford Mustang LX Description

1992 Ford Mustang feature edition convertible 5 speed vibrant red with only 2709 original miles. Beautiful original car with the original goodyear gatorback tires. I purchased this car last year from a dealer with 2600 miles and have driven it very sparingly as you can see. Drives effortlessly and shifts very smoothly. In 1992, there were only 2093 Feature edition convertibles. They were all vibrant red but only around 800 were 5 speeds which makes this car even more rare. Besides the unique vibrant red paint, feature editions included a special rear deck spoiler, pearlescent wheels and black piping on the seats. This particular car has the only 2 extra options you could get, a graphic equalizer and a power drivers seat.
The car is amazing with only 2709 miles but has a couple of small issues. You may have noticed, there is a non stock Mustang emblem on the hood. I bought the car this way and the dealer showed me that there is a nick in the paint under that emblem maybe half the size of a dime. Instead of touching up the original mint paint, they stuck a removable emblem on it. It is possible to fix it without repainting the entire hood however I have not done so yet. The other issues are, the power seat doesn't go up and down only back and forth and the a/c is not cold. Also the steering wheel is slightly off to one side when driving so perhaps a wheel alignment is in order. Other than regular maintenance, the only other thing I've had to do is get the original computer rebuilt which is required on a lot of older computers of this vintage. The capacitors get old and need to be replaced. The dealer told me they replaced the airbag module as well.
Overall this is a 9.5/10 car and the miles speak for themselves. It's a beautiful car but I decided I'd rather tinker with modified cars than 100% original cars so that's why I'm selling it. I have a couple other Mustangs that need some attention. Good luck and please let me know if you have any questions. Clear California title in my name. Thanks
