1969 MACH 1 Matching No. 428 'R" code C6 Indian Fire Red White int Marti SHAKER
1969 Ford Mustang Fastback Mach 1 Description
1969 MACH 1 "R" CODE 428 RAM AIR C6 A/T Numbers matching Engine
Thank you for looking at my 1969 Mustang Fastback Mach 1. Its a real beauty, just finished the restoration started by Keith Craft performance engines. I understand he was building it for him self and spared no expense. He built the Original numbers matching 428 Ram air 4V to specs and also the C6 to "R" code specs too(nice firm shifts). The body was completely painted when I got it and it had chips here and there so I had it redone by Randall's Garage in Kentucky (Best painter I have ever had) He speciallizes in vintage and muscle car . The paint and fit is absolutely near perfect. The color is Indian Fire Red(correct per marti report) and is really sharp. I really like it because it stands out from all the other Red, Blue, Green, Black and every other common Mach 1 colors. I have the Deluxe Marti Report that shows how it came from the factory. The only thing different from factory is it had a fold down rear seat added, and tilt steering. Clock, radio, all gauges and lights work as they should.Everything has been rebuilt or new including fuel tank, stainless steel fuel and brake lines, all P/S, power disc brake, wiring and exhaust components. New 15" magnum 500s 7" front and 8" rears for that staggard muscle car stance. Under side is as nice as top. Not hardly any miles driven since finished. Its so nice and detailed I hate to drive it. Sounds awesome. As you probably know Ram- Air means "SHAKER"I have lots of receipts as well as Marti Report that go with it from Keith Craft and me.Car is available for inspection in Champaign, Illinois. Please be able to follow through with funds if you bid on it.Ask questions if you need any further info. Clear title in hand and ready to go.Buyer responsible for shipping$1,000 deposit required within 24 hours and remainder in guaranteed funds within 5 days. Please be timely in picking it up or shipping as I need space.Car advertised locally and could end at any time.Thank you for considering my SHARP Mach 1 On Apr-03-16 at 06:08:57 PDT, seller added the following information:I have a used magnum 500 rim with tire that I will include with the car too.I also wanted to add that the door data plate was removed during restoration and I tried to use the factory style new rivets and one held but the other didn't so that is why it has a standard rivet in one side. There is NO rust as it has had a lot of new metal replaced during restoration. All seams and welds look factory.
On Apr-03-16 at 20:48:16 PDT, seller added the following information:I've had a few questions about the front seat lower cushion. I am sorry to say that is the one area that wasn't redone. I wish now I would have redone the seats and foam and I probably will if it doesn't sell. They looked very good until sat in, Then the lower seat cover started breaking down. I wish now I would have just done them. I will work with the buyer on this issue as it should have been done before.
Also as stated the car was just finished and has not been driven hardly at all so I will need some adjustments here and there, Not ready for long trips until its been broke in and fine tuned.
For this reason I have priced it lower than any other "R" code of its equal so you have room to finish these minor adjustments.
On Apr-04-16 at 18:49:59 PDT, seller added the following information:I purchased the Full seat upholstery kit and foam from TMI for the front and back seats (white with red accent stripe) and I will be getting them installed throughout this week and weekend so the seats will be as nice as the rest. Thanks DJ
On Apr-10-16 at 18:27:05 PDT, seller added the following information:I just got seats completely recovered with new TCI white upholstery with red accent stripe. New foam as well. looks excellent. I cant add pictures now so if you want to see the new seat upholstery just ask and I can send them to you.
