Hello to all eBayers!
I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I'm liquidating my collection since I'm selling my warehouse.
Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection.
This 1962 FORD Tunderbird is located in a Copart facility in HUEYTOWN, AL. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic clean vehicle, and this auction yard is not the best place to sell it. This classic is clean title and being sold with an ALABAMA registration.
If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.
1962 Ford Thunderbird
The third generation of the Ford Thunderbird is a large personal luxury car that was produced by Ford for the 1961 to 1963 model years. It featured new and much sleeker styling than the second generation models.
An addition for 1962 was a special engine code (VIN engine code M) which added a "tripower" or three two barrel setup to a higher compression version of the 390 engine. This engine used 406 heads as well as the same carburetors that were found on the high performance 406 powered Ford Galaxie but with a modified version of the intake manifold to allow for proper air flow under the engine.
You are looking at a great preserved and very original Ford Thunderbird that shows only 70k miles.
Restore it or just drive and enjoy it as it is!
Mechanical
Overall this car is in very good mechanical shape. A new gas tank has been installed and the carburetor has been rebuilt. Motor sounds great, transmission goes right in gear. Working AC.
Exterior
The exterior is in nice solid shape. There are some bubbles on the lower right quarter, a few spots on left side, but nothing major though, and nothing to worry about. Undercarriage looks good. The body is straight and the doors open and close as they should. All glass in nice.
Overall, the exterior is in a good condition.
Interior
The interior is very complete, original and nice. It is just showing little wear. The car has power seats, which are nice and clean. Door panels, headliner and carper are clean.
Overall, this is a great T-bird waiting for its new owner!
Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase. Bid with confidence and if you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, don't hesitate to ask. You can email me or send me your telephone number and I will give you a call. I have tried my best to describe this vehicle as accurately as I can. People have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. It is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle or send a third party inspector for your satisfaction. Remember, this car is from the 1960's and can have some imperfections that I'm not aware of.
Shipping
Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I can cooperate with your shipper. This vehicle is advertised on other websites, so I have the right to end the auction early if it gets sold. I'm not a dealer, but just a very passionate collector of classic cars and trucks.

I'm saying this because I've had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! If you are buying and paying for this classic, please contact your transporter after vehicle is picked up and within 2 hours please give me a positive feedback!
This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price!
