Description:1946 Ford 1/2 ton mounted on a 1989 S-10 suspension. ALL sheet metal is bolted on and is easy to remove. Drive as is, rat rod or ? Limited only by you imagination.
Has new shocks, brake shoes, pads, calipers, rotors, front line, master cylinder, power booster. Chevy 305 with a mild cam, new kit in Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and a fresh valve jobs, wires, plugs, wire holders, coil, points and condenser. Rear end is stock S-10. New headers and new exhaust from front to rear with cherry bomb mufflers. New aluminum gas pedal, cable and carb brackets for the tranny and throttle.
New 4 core aluminum radiator with spal electric fan, new hoses, belts, water pump and thermostat. Has power steering with new aluminum bracket. New cab wood, bushings, pads, bolts. Fresh seat upholstery and padding.
Affordable WireMaster wiring panel mounted under the seat. Turn signals mounted on original column. Wheel spacers on all 4 corners. Full set of Stewart Warner gages mounted in a Bob Drake aluminum dash. All gages are electric except for Speedometer and Oil, which are mechanical. Front clip and dash wiring are male/female for easy and quick removal if you need or want to work in those areas. Original start button is the horn. Has a new wiper switch, but needs to be installed.
This is an excellent driver AND a blast to drive. Is a GREAT project to complete as a driver or detail out as time and money permits. Is street legal, insured and driven. Has new safety windshield glass, NEW divider bar, and NEW rubber. Has a 700-R4 transmission with a new Lokar shifter and neutral safety switch.
Probably left out something but this should give you an idea of just what some of the things that been done to the truck. I drive daily but need to cut back on vehicles and this has to go.
