1948 Ford Other Description

I'm very reluctantly putting my '48 Ford up for sale. I've owned this car since 1998 and driven it all over New England, creating many great friends and memories along the way. But I am trying to get another car, so it's time to send this one along to a new owner.
If you win this auction, you bought it. No backing out. Payment due within 7 days.
Here's what I've done over the past years:
- chopped top 5" in front, 7" in back
- modern wiring kit and fuses
- 305 small block Chevy (mated to stock 3-speed, runs great)
- 3:54 gears installed in rear end (cruises easily at highway speed)
- Edelbrock Performer carb, dual Smithy's exhaust, Mallory Unilite distributor
- moved battery to trunk
- Coker 15" whitewall radial tires
- new chrome bumpers
- lowered with Posie's reversed-eye springs and longer shackles in back
- knee-action shocks replaced with tube shocks
- replaced stock single master cylinder with dual master cylinder
- replaced wheel cylinders and brake shoes
Here's what it needs:
- finish bodywork and paint
- side glass- interior (at minimum a headliner, front seat recovered, and kick panels)
- pulls just slightly to the right
- kingpins and alignment

This car runs great, shifts great, and has the early custom sled look. But I'm not gonna lie, there is a lot of bondo in the chop. It's held up well over the years though. There's a minor ding in the roof over the driver's door, and a few minor cracks along the bottom of the fenders and rockers. Finish bodywork and a paint job would make this car look amazing.
