--1962 Ford Thunderbird--
Selling my 1962 Ford thunderbird. Was bought back in 2012, has been in a storage unit for the last few years until I had time to get back to actually doing some work on it. Actual mileage on the car is unknown. Car drove like a champ and sounded real good, but not loud. Car has AC on it but currently not charged. The car is a solid car, solid metal all through the car, I have seen no signs of any bondo in the car at all. Car has some hail dings on the hood and trunk but nothing severe. floor pans and trunk pans have never been replaced and are solid through and through. Trunk has new carpeting, Seats have been redone, chrome trim on the car looks real good, bumpers have some pitting here and there but could be redone for a nice clean finish. Car comes with a plethora of additional parts and chrome trim, extra mirrors, headlight bezel and headlights, door panel, extra headliner material extra center caps and many other parts not listed.
Car for some reason or another has a 351w in it and I have no idea why the 390 was replaced. But was running and driving fine 2 days ago cruising down I-55 at 70mph when the distributer cap and rotor blew apart. my guess is the cap was loose and one of the screws came out and that's what shut her down. Went and bought another cap and rotor and she cranks over but I cant get her started back up. So rather than sink some more time into her I'm going to trade her off or sell for cash outright.

Before anyone begins to ask about the distributor. I included a picture of what happened after that video was taken. the second it happened I immediately pulled over popped the hood and that's what I saw. So now the next thing to answer is yes its a 351w with distributer but it has cap and rotor from 80s style GM. No that was not my doing when I got the car. It came that way with the car. my guess was it was more affordable than the stock one. but I honestly have no idea. I do however also still retain the previous owners information name and phone number incase someone wants to go even further back on the history of the car. Maybe they could answer questions that I am unable to.
