1931 Ford Model A Description

On offer here is one of the most well sorted Model As we have had the chance of offering! The owner of this particular car is a long time car collector and has owned literally 100s of Model As over the course of his lifetime. This example an honest car which would serve as a fantastic driver, or an eventual candidate for a high end restoration!

The Model A seen before you is a 1931 example. It is also one of the most desirable of all the body styles produced being the 2 door pickup configuration. The various pickup configurations of Model As always seem to be the most highly sought of the bunch! This particular model features the utility of a truck without sacrificing the closed cabin of a coupe!

This example is featured in a wonderful shade of red over deep and rich black fenders and pin striping which shows well to this day. The paint job is certainly not perfect, but presents well at local shows. It is a car which you would not be afraid to driver or show! as well as installation of a brand new battery and now drivesabsolutelyfantastically! Starts on the first try every single time.

The interior is trimmed in vinyl in the correct material and shows as new or almost new condition! A new floor mat has also been installed in the interior. Best of all, the dash has been free-hand pinstripped by a local artist in Kansas City named Bob Bond. Bob is a California native who grew up being personal friends with all the greats, including Von Dutch.

This Model A currently rides on all new tires along with wheels which were stripped to bare metal and powder coated to match the body!

Best of all about this car is the fact that it runs and drives very well. Shifts through the gears well, stops well and straight, and does not overheat! Aside from that, you wont find a tighter Model A... we have had the car for years and this car doesn't leak a drop!

All in all, what you have here is a remarkable Model A which is fit for the best of collections! We are now selling because the owner/collector is thinning down his collection!
