1960 Ford Thunderbird.Last of the Square Birds. Black. Mechanically excellent.
1960 Ford Thunderbird Standard Description
This old bird is a driver. Not a show car. The engine is very strong and runs smooth as silk. The heads have been modified for unleaded gas. No engine or transmission leaks. Transmission shifts cleanly and sharply as it should. Car has been routinely maintained and last passed PA State Inspection in 2014. Has been changed over to antique plates but should still pass inspection. I just put new radial white wall tires on her. Glass is good with exception of a minor corner crack on the passenger door glass. Functionally not a problem and hardly noticeable. Roof liner has small hole on passenger side under sun visor. See pictures to review. Can't see it unless visor is down. Paint is 10 -20 footer. Much touch up that could be buffed up to look better. Hood has been patched in front with fiberglass. Solid but needs better sanding and paint. A fun car to drive and cruise in, With its cosmetic issues I still get lots of thumbs up driving down the road. I have a short video of the car running/idling. Happy to e-mail it to you if interested. Lost my garage storage and need to let her go. She doesn't deserve to be out in the weather. Car is located south of Carlisle PA in Chambersburg, PA. You are welcome to inspect or have someone inspect it for you. I can help load the car with a shipper of your choice or your trailer. I will also deliver up to 500 miles from Chambersburg in an enclosed trailer for $0.50 per mile roundtrip.
