1967 Ford Bronco Description

Why spend years and more money in parts to build a classic Bronco when you can buy this and start enjoying it now. There is well over the reserve price in parts alone. This is not a rotten Early Bronco, it has been garaged by me for 20 years and it was under a carport for 15 before that.

Drivetrain

•Mass air fuel injected 5L H.O. full roller motor that runs strong with an aluminum radiator and electric fan in aluminum shroud.

• T-18 4 speed, 6.32 : 1 first gear and 1 : 1 fourth gear.

•Advanced adapter to T-shift Dana 20 2.46 : 1 low range and 1 : 1 high that was recently rebuilt and twin stick shifters were added.

•Final reduction 71 : 1 low range.

•Dana 60 rear – shaved housing with custom heavy duty cover. 456 Dana Spicer gears, Timken bearings, ARB air locker, 35 splined Moser engineering 9” axles, and disc brakes.

•Dana 44 front – 456 Dana Spicer gears, Timken bearing, lock rite, warn hubs, wristed radius arm, raised track bar mount.

Suspension

•Front 3.5” lift coils, 1 1/2” shock hoops, Bilstine shocks, urethane bushings

•Rear three link coils, a combination of Johnny joints and urethane bushings with dual Rancho 9012 shocks.

Steering

•Tie rod on top of the steering knuckle, threaded 1 ton tie rods (correct LH and RH 7/8-18 so it is adjustable) and adjustable drag link.

•Saginaw power steering pump with increased flow to eliminate the “Ford pump whine”.

Tires

• 36x12.5x15 TSL Radial Swampers, siped with tons of tread left including a worn spare on a mismatched wheel.

Brakes

•4 wheel disc brakes.

•Factory Ford 79 F-150 Disc front.

•Cadillac rear calipers with provision for e-brake that is not hooked up.

•Hydro boost power.

•Larger master cylinder.

•Saginaw pump with increased flow for hydro boost.

Fuel

•NWMP 20 gallon tank with heavy duty skid plate.

•Rear mounted electric pusher pump to eliminate starving the forward pump.

•Forward mounted high pressure pump.

•Inertia switch that is visible and accessible from the driver’s seat.

Accessories

•York air condition pump converted to on board air pump, with tank running 140PSI to fill tires, run tools.

•Separate pressure reduced air circuit, filtered with separate condensation trap for ARB, ensuring proper operation and clean dry air to preserve the seals.

•Optima battery.

•Stinger mounted “off-road” driving lights.

•2 Ammo cans mounted on the rear fenders for storage.

•Harbor freight winch front mounted with remote and hardwired dash controls for driver seat operation (Warn stickers on the winch but it is a Harbor freight).

•Rear storage bin.

Interior

•Custom dash with Mooneyes gauges and Grant steering wheel.

•Custom cage.

•Racing seats with 3 point seat belts mounted to the cage.

•Interior mounted, hard wired winch controls.

•Cage mounted CB not functioning properly, may be the mic but I am not sure.

Body

•BCBroncos ¼ panel protectors, contoured to fit and protect the rear corner and tail light.

•Heavy duty rock slider rockers.

•Heavy duty front bumper with stinger.

•Heavy duty rear bumper with through welded pull point that is directly mounted to the frame.

•Quick release removable doors.

•Upper window frames unbolt from the doors making them half doors.

•Custom half cab that was built from original hardtop, not astatically finished on the top, or inside, has flat bar welded to cap the top.

•Rear cage can be unbolted to remove the half cab.

•Cage was built to accommodate a factory hard top (I do not have a hard top).

•Full soft top without windows (they zip out and I do not have them). The soft top framework that may need some work as it was for a different manufacturers top but I fit it once and it was a good enough fit for me.

•Tailgate has some rust bubbling and a few small rust holes, this is common in the early Broncos and there are inexpensive repair panels available if it’s something you want to address.

•Fenders, both front fenders are aftermarket.

•Paint is from a can on front fenders and, done in place for touch up / color match on the rest.

•Hood is early James Duff fiberglass with custom painted black skull with a few “ghost” skulls as well.
