We recently purchased this Thunderbird Landau from the previous older Washington State owner who owned the car for the last ten plus years and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy !! It still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door mounted Ford data / VIN tag and it's FACTORY ORIGINAL - trunk lid mounted jacking instruction sticker, both of which are shown in several pictures. I drove this BEAUTY for the last several days as my daily driver, to and from the office and running errands as needed and it ran and drove GREAT !! Drove great in town and cruises down the freeway at 70+ mph effortlessly and easily. This is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington State - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car and it shows! At the heart of this Thunderbird is the VERY STRONG !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - ALL IMPORTANT NUMBERS MATCHING !! - Code "Z" - (315 HORSEPOWER FROM THE FACTORY !!) - 390 CID V8 motor that is running VERY well and also sports the ORIGINAL 4 barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL 4 barrel carburetor. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style true dual exhaust system with custom H-pipe and dual chrome tips. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Code "U" - "Cruise-O-Matic" - three speed automatic transmission which is also functioning very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - MOSTLY ALL FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "2A" - Black bucket seat luxury Landau interior is in NICE condition for being original including NICE ORIGINAL Black front bucket seats, NICE Black carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Black Vinyl door panels, NICE ORIGINAL Thunderbird steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl center console, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl headliner, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl sun visors, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black rear seat with folding center armrest and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !! All of the ORIGINAL black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in good condition for being original. The - Code "E" - Beige Mist Metallic exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL !! showing a few very small chips that have been touched up but still looks bright and shiny and GORGEOUS !! as you can clearly see in the VIDEO AND THE 100 ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! This Thunderbird Landau comes nicely equipped including factory power steering, factory power brakes with discs up front, factory power wipers, good heater and defroster, original chrome driver's side view remote exterior mirror, original day / night rear view mirror, factory gauge clusters with 120 MPH speedometer, original AM radio which is no longer working, factory power antenna which is no longer working, working factory hide-away headlights and factory back up lights. This Thunderbird Landau has GORGEOUS looks and AWESOME 390 V8 power as well... what's not to like ?! The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in good condition including NICE ORIGINAL badging and NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers !! Take a look at the AWESOME - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Thunderbird stainless steel wheel covers and BRAND NEW whitewall steel belted radial tires, boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this Thunderbird and really retains that CLEAN - "Factory Original" look !! The Clean - Solid trunk also sports a NEW black carpet liner, a full size spare tire and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench.
