1917 Ford Model T Depot Hack. Built in Southern California in the early 2000's by an avid model T enthusiast. The 1917 chassis was purchased in southern CA. The Depot Hack (Wooden) body was constructed using original plans from 1925. Exceptional craftsmanship and detail went into the construction of this very classic vehicle. Originally these early vehicles were used to transport passengers and their luggage from train stations to nearby destinations The running boards are original to the car with "Ford" script stamped into the metal. Three of the fenders are original Henry steel. One fender is from Rootlieb, Inc. The windshield is tempered glass. The car has a 12volt electrical system with an electric starter, alternator and working headlights. It is a very prominent car that rides on 30 inch wooden rims and tires. This is definitely a very unique car to add to one's personal collection. Perfect for taking to car shows, parades or just driving the grandkids around the neighborhood. This car runs and drives great.
