1966 Ford Thunderbird 428
1966 Ford Thunderbird Description
Up for sale is this 1966 Ford Thunderbird. I'm not a big Ford guy and really don't know much about these. I do know that it has a 428 that runs in it. I'm not sure why, but the door panels are off of the car but they appear to be in average shape. It has what looks like brand new Toyo Spectrum P225/70R15 tires on it. I took this car in on a trade of sorts and didn't do anything to it besides throw a battery in it to see if it starts. It does start and move under it's own power but it runs rough and probably needs a carb rebuild? It does leak oil but that's about the only bad with it mechanically. The exhaust appears to be new. It has a sort of poppy sound when it's revved up and I kinda dig it. I've never driven this car besides moving it around the yard. The paint is oxidized but appears that it could almost buff out. The sides of the car are nice and glossy still and the top looks to be in great shape. I've checked it out the best I can and I don't see any structural rust and all of the floor and trunk pans seem solid. It has a bunch of trim and other parts in the trunk as well as old moldy paperwork that looks like it could be useful? Any questions feel free to ask. I can deliver anywhere in the US for a fee. Just message me and ask.
