1979 Ford Thunderbird - Triple White - Less Than 21,000 Miles!
1979 Ford Thunderbird Description
This beautiful low-mileage 1979 Thunderbird was purchased brand new in Birmingham, MI. The original owner was an elderly unmarried woman. She passed away suddenly in 1980, leaving the Thunderbird to her two roommates.
The car was stored in their garage. The woman's Nephew would take it out for drives several times each year, and take it for oil changes and any other maintenance it needed. It was stored in their garage until 2000 when the last roommate passed away. At that time the car was left to the Nephew.
The Nephew moved it to his garage in Royal Oak, MI. The car was driven in Woodward Dream Cruise, and to other local classic car events.
I purchased the car in 2006 with less than 18,000 miles on it. I have kept it in dry, climate controlled storage since I have owned it. You can tell that the approximately 20,500 miles on it now are legitimate when you look the car over.
The car drives like a new car. I had the transmission rebuilt about 5 years ago. I put the Cragar SS wheels and new tires on it in 2008. The bumpers have been re-chromed, and are in perfect condition. I have the original wheels and Thunderbird wire hubcaps, and they will go with the car.
Please let me know if you'd like to come and look at the car. You won't be disappointed!
