Up for sale is a 1989 Ford Festiva LX 2-door hatchback. It is a 4-cylinder with an automatic transmission.This is a fuel efficient car that is very inexpensive to fill the tank as well as inexpensive to maintain. It has next to no options; basic factory radio, no factory a/c, no power steering, manual windows and locks. Everything seems to work as it should. It runs well and seems to drive well also. It has been well maintained.
This car has a brand new exhaust system from the downpipe to the tailpipe, including muffler and center pipe. The catalytic converter is original and in good shape. It also has a brand new radiator, hoses, speedometer cable, air filter, and alternator. The battery is fairly new as well.
We only put about 10 miles on this car since acquiring it, so we can only describe what we know about it. We try to be honest and disclose every possible detail. That said, the car is being sold AS IS.
Car to be picked up in Newark, Delaware (USA) 19702. Vehicle is being sold as is, where is. No warranty expressed, implied, or otherwise offered. No refunds will be given for any reason whatsoever. This vehicle is 27 years old. Your bid/purchase is a legally binding contract. A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours after the sale. Full payment due within 3 days unless other arrangements are made and agreed to by both parties. Payment to be made in the form of cash upon pickup, or certified bank check (will have to clear before vehicle and title leave our possession). Any other payment methods MUST be agreed upon prior to hitting "buy it now." Paypal ONLY accepted for the deposit, unless other arrangements are discussed prior to the sale. Pick up within 10 days. Storage of $25.00 per day starting on day 11 if the vehicle is not picked up, again,unless other arrangements are made and agreed upon.I am a reasonable person, and am more than willing to work with the buyer if they are up front and honest with us. I will also be happy to assist in shipping the car if necessary, i.e. work with the shipper or recommend shippers if we can. We would be happy to work with international buyers.
