Up for auction is an incredibly well preserved 1973 Ford F350 Ranger XLT with the Super Camper package. This is a very rare truck because it has a much longer wheel base than a normal F350 and was fitted with 33x12.50x16.5 rear tires on wider wheels from the factory for increased payloads. This has been a one owner truck since 1975 when the truck had just 10,000 miles. The second owner purchased a Holiday Camper in 1976 and used this truck exclusively for hauling the camper on the occasional family trip. A detailed handwritten log of all maintenance and mileage remains with the truck dating all the way back to 1976 when the camper was installed on the truck along with several invoices for maintenance and repairs from the last 20 years. The truck still holds the 1975 title which remains in the original envelope it was mailed in along with the 1975 Washington State tonnage license and registration invoice. This truck is in unbelievable condition for its age and is 100% all original. The truck was factory equipped with A/C, which was just converted to R-134A refrigerant. A period correct AM/FM 8 track player remains in the truck and still plays 8 tracks! The interior shows extremely well and has very minimal wear for its age. The carpets are free of any ripping or separations and the binding is still intact along the edges. The original all weather floor mats still remain in the truck. The bench seat is in great shape, but is starting to show a few separations in the fabric on the driver's side. The dash is in excellent condition and is free of any cracking or fading. The original headliner is beginning to sag slightly, but the material is in excellent condition. All of the gauges work. The paint on this truck is 100% original and shows very well with a deep shine. There are several road chips on the leading edge of the hood along with some fine surface scratches throughout as one would expect for a truck of this age. There is also some wear on the back of the cab from the previously installed camper. The body is laser straight aside from a dent in the drivers door and a few very minimal dings on the hood. The truck is extremely rust free and dry, having just one little pinhole of rust on the bottom of the driver's front fender as pictured. The floor pans, door bottoms, tailgate, bed, cab corners and cab mount braces are solid as a rock. The body gaps are very even throughout and the doors, hood, and tailgate open and close like a brand new car. The frame and suspension components are very dry and only show a small amount of surface rust underneath. This truck runs and drives as well as it looks. The engine runs smoothly and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts smoothly. The tires are virtually brand new. Included with the sale are all of the records for the truck along withtheoriginal owner'smanual. This is one of the most impressive survivor pickups on the road and will not disappoint. This truck is truly a time capsule!
