This has been completely gone through. I rebuild cars as a hobby and this one, after sitting for about 19 years, is ready to go back on the road.

I have several thousand dollars in new parts on this truck and many hours of labor.

Some of the new parts include:

  • windshield
  • brakes including new calipers
  • pads, shoes & wheel cylinders
  • hoses
  • radiator
  • carburetor
  • starter
  • new weather stripping throughout
  • tires
  • shocks

All new interior including:

  • seat covers
  • carpet & dash pad
  • head liner

Plus many small parts.

The motor has been rebuilt. It sounds great but is not broken-in yet so needs to be driven at slower speeds and gradually brought up to higher speeds.

The rest of the drive train is still original but is in good condition.

The truck looks beautiful with the new red & white tutone paint job and a spray in bed liner. There was no rust on the truck; just a few spots on the bed which have been repaired and you cannot tell they were ever there.

The underside of the truck was all cleaned up and sprayed with a rust proofing paint, so the truck looks almost as good underneath as it does on top.

I think about the only thing it would need is to have the tires balanced. I did not have it inspected and it does not have license plates so I can’t drive it except around my neighborhood but everything seems to be working as it should.
