1926 Ford T MODEL -- Description

IF YOU HAVE INTEREST IN A COOL RAT ROD THAT IS WELL BUILT, this could be for you. The body is a very solid 1926 Ford Model T coupe. The top is chopped, the body is channeled, the engine is a strong V8 Chevrolet, the transmission a Chevrolet Turbo 350 automatic, 18 inch white wide wall tires, wire Ford rims, flat red paint, lots of pin striping, bomber seats and some cool Rat Rod stuff like Coke opener for the trunk handle, Old Grand Dad whiskey bottle for over flow and a spittoon for the air cleaner. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR comfort and safety, "this is not it". The car feels wicked fast to me, no seat belts are air bags on a 1926 car. HOW IS THE BODY? The body looks very good to me, I see no rusty holes or bad pitting that been painted over? HOW IS THE FRAME? It a custom built frame that looks well built to me, come inspect and decide for yourself. I did put several pictures of it on if you scroll way down on the listing. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It a Chevrolet V8, pass owner said it was a 350 cubic inch. It runs strong, I hear no knocks or unwanted rattles. The worst thing I have found is the starter kicked out 2 times on me, this is sort of a Chevrolet starter thing, no big deal. The carburetor look to be a new Edelbrock 4 barrel, it starts good and runs good, I did notice if I drove it and parked for 15 minutes I had to open the throttle to clear it up to start. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting Chevrolet Turbo 350 with what looks like to me a Lokar shifter. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Drums on all 4 with a dual master cylinder. The stop good to my feel, the worst thing I noticed is skidding coming off the trailer. The car is very light and they feel good on the asphalt road. WARNING!!!!! This car sets very low, it has been channeled, that is where the body is fitted lower on the frame. To trailer you will need a till trailer of one like on a enclosed trailer. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? What can I say, it has cool bomber seats with padding, pin striped dash and apiece of carpet. HOW IS THE EXHAUST? It just has straight pipes out. They do sound cool and not as loud as you might think. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? Good for what it is, not like a modern car. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303. 1 mile and 1 turn off interstate 75. CONTACT Ron Watson PHONE RON WATSON 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com
