WOW !... what can I say... this is one of those deals that rarely come along. These trucks are not all that super rare or hard to find, but to find one this well preserved, so rust free withtheV-8 &the original paint is very rare and to top it off... there's a low reserve so it's actually obtainable. I'm not one of those guys that put a ridiculous price tag on my cars and wait forever for an impulse buyer. I price my cars to sell & sell quick... So take your time, read all I have to say, click on the links to check out the detailed pictures on Flickr & the Video's on YouTube. Do your home work on these trucks, call and talk to me, get a quote on shipping, check the balance in your bank account, get permission from your wife & then make your best offer... You might be the lucky new owner of this very unique truck.
1963 Ford F-100 Integrated Cab, long bed, 2WD, 292 Y-block V8 w/ a 3 on the tree. A truck like this would make a sweet hot rod, but if your build budget is a little weak, heck, just fine tune it & drive it as is. I personally, would resto-mod the guts and drive the piss out of it keeping the outside looking just how she looks. This Patina is for real & took 50 years of farm use to get it like this. It's a cool patina because it's not all roached out and crusty to the point it looks like crap, it's just enough to show its age in a good way, like your favorite pair of jeans. As they say, it's only original once.
The lady I purchased this from bought it used in 1969. It still has the NC title issued in '69. She used it on the farm, for hunting & around town. When it wasn't in use it was parked in the barn. She let the tags expire in 2013 and parked it in the barn and would occasionally fire it up to avoid garage rot. When I bought it, it didn't run. I cleaned out the gas tank, rebuilt the carburetor, overhauled the brake system and put another set of tires on it. I got it where it will fire up & drive down the road & stop too, but it really needs some more fine tuning and definitely a new clutch. You will need to have the truck shipped or bring your trailer. Unless you're like those guys on Road Kill and love a good challenge, I strongly recommend that you bring your trailer. This truck is being sold as-is, so please take a good look at all the pictures and the video's and if that's not enough come out and look at it in person or send a 3rd party inspector to check it out. I represent my cars with as much honesty and detail as possible to ensure a smooth transaction and will do the best I can to make your buying experience fun and exciting as it should be.
I do not arrange transport but will work with whom ever you choose to make sure we get the truck safely loaded & on its way to you, however the truck does not leave my place until the funds have cleared. The way this usually works is upon close of the auction, you send a 500 dollar non refundable deposit via-pay pal. I will immediately send out DMV forms for you to sign ( bill of sale, title re-assignment, etc...) you send them back to me, I'll complete them and when the money clears, I'll send your copies along with the title via certified mail. Payment can be in the form of a cashiers / certified check or bank to bank wire transfer or PayPal with a 3% fee added to the winning bid to cover their fees. I am willing to work with buyers overseas as long as you speak good English or have a translator.
Please do not ask what the reserve is and no I will not sell outside of the auction. I want to remain fair to all bidders and also see what the market brings. This might swing in my favor or yours, but I guess we'll find out.
Your bid may be rejected if you have zero or poor feed back. If that fits you, then just call me and let me know you're serious. Communication is key to a successful eBay transaction.
