1969 Ford E-Series Van E200 4X4 ECONOLINE VAN Description
INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME! PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 8O5-8038 WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY IT NOW! This is a killer Van that is ready to have some fun! It is a 1969 Ford E200 Econoline 4x4 van that is ready to take you anywhere you want to go and possibly a few places you shouldn't. Vintage vans are very hot right now and finding a good Snub Nose early Ford can take some time. Finding a 4WD version will take you significantly longer. They are rare. This is a California van and the body is very solid. A couple minor bubbles but nothing big at all and certainly nothing that needs to be fixed immediately. The body is straight. The undercarriage is excellent and extremely solid as you would expect from a van that has lived in a dry California climate. The floorboards and frame are solid. The first owner had a lower end re-paint done a few years ago. It doesn't necessarily need it depending on what you want to do, but I definitely feel it deserves a nice re-spray back to the silver it was before. It is powered by a healthy 302 cubic inch small block V-8 mated to a recently rebuilt automatic transmission. The original owner's family that I got the van from also said the transfer case as well as the front and rearends were also rebuilt, along with rebuilding the suspension. New battery and new starter. The Ford runs very well. It is smooth and strong with plenty of power. Newer exhaust that keeps it surprisingly quiet. It is equipped with factory power steering and power brakes. It has disc brakes on front. The wheels and tires are almost new and in excellent condition. It drives very well and handles remarkably well for what it is. It is very easy to drive. Air suspension in the rear for towing and it is set up to tow. The interior is pretty cool. Nice tuck and roll style headliner and wood paneling in the rear. Spare tire mounted behind the rear set of seats. Storage inside the shelf style seating in back. The Skyjacker jack is included. I will even include the Cragar coffee table! Modern bucket seats in front that are comfortable. The dashpad has some cracks in it but it is currently covered with a dash cover. Sliding windows on both sides make for good airflow in the cabin. All in all, this is a one of a kind van that is just cool.It is a nice van, not a perfectly restored Concours example so please be realistic with your expectations. I do not think you will find a better one, especially a four wheel drive version, for the money and certainly nothing needs to be done to drive it to the beach or take it camping today. THIS ONE IS PRICED TO SELL. Clean, clear California title in hand with current registration. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego.
