1965 Ford F-100 F100 Description

Original- Barn Find-Patina-Shop Truck

Ok folks, here is your chance to own an extremely collectible 1965 F100 that is as original as you could ever find and has just the right amount of Patina/character to go along with it. What you see is a 2nd owner 1965 F100 truck with a 352 V8 engine 2bbl carb and automatic transmission with manual drum brakes and side tool box. The truck HAS NOT been clear coated like alot of the ratrods or shop trucks you see. We done nothing but polish the original paint.Although it does have dents and dings here and there, the shine of the patina really gives it some style.
The reason these trucks bring so much money nowadays in this condition is because you can't reproduce the character this truck has. It will only look like this once. It took 51 years for the exterior of the truck to look like this.It even still has the orignal floor mat and door panels!!
We did recover the seat, and cardboard headliner is brokenand might as well be is considered gone. Everything with exception of the seat is all original and in it's original condition. The doors shut extremely well although the weatherstrip is original and needs to be replaced as well as the front and rear glass seals are still original and are very weathered. The tail gate is bent pretty bad but still opens and closes.
On the front end we have installe, new king Pins and bushings, New radius arm bushings, resurfaced all four brake drums, replaced all 4 brake wheel cylinders, replaced all brake shoes, both front brake lines, brake master cylinder and front and rear shocks! The only thing that does not work on this truck is the factory AM radio.
Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, tail lights and horn all work on this truck just as it should. How many trucks like this can you actually get in and drive that has this much character and everything actually work!?!The truck is a little cold natured with it's manual choke but runs very well and transmission shifts good also. It has a few small oil leaks but nothing that appears to be major.

The truck has VERY LITTLE rust for its age but does have some rust. The bottom of the radiator support does show some rust as see in the pictures. Also, both cross braces under the cab and one cab corner is showing some rust underneath. The floor pans, rocker panels, bottom of doors and cab mounts all appear to be RUST FREE the best we can tell. The inside of the bed is rusted through at the front as you can also see in the pictures.
The side toolbox appears to be completely rust free. That is something you nearly NEVER see in these old trucks. The lock for the side box is broken but it still open and closes. The tires on front and rear are in fair condition and have approx 50% tread.
The bottom line is this truck seems to run and drive very well and everything works that would let you use it as a shop truck, weekend cruiser, stage prop, farm truck, whatever you can imagine. You could restore it as a father/son or Father/daughter project or just leave it like it is. It is extremely hard to find like this and you can't deny it's coolness. The original engine runs out very well and transmission shifts well. Both engine and transmission do have some leaks as you would expect but nothing that appears to be major. Please feel free to contact us with any questions at all!!
