Up for auction is my fathers fully restored 19641/2 Mustang Convertible. This is an original 260 V8 car. Vehicle was fully restored about by the previous owner about 9 years ago and stored in a climate controlled garage and hardly driven since restoration.
Vehicle is equipped with a automatic transmission, manual steering, brakes and top.
Vehicle has been fully restored and 100% solid. There are new quarters, door skins, front fenders, floor pans, new weather striping, window felts and rechromed bumpers. Body lines and gaps fit beautifully. Repainted in its factory original paint code and is truly beautiful. Body is super straight.
The interior is totally restored and in pristine condition. The top is also in new condition.
At time of the restoration the it appears the motor was updated to a 289 that was totally rebuilt as well as the entire drivetrain including transmission and rear differential. When the motor was rebuilt the original 260 accessories were used.
Vehicle runs and drives flawlessly! Vehicle speaks for itself and is absolutely beautiful in every way!
