1958 Ford F-100 Shortbed
Second year of the third-generation F-Series pickup First year for quad headlights 330CI Oldsmobile V8 3 speed manual transmission Original Black exterior with nice patina Many new mechanical partsAre you looking for a stylish classic truck with a newer and more powerful drivetrain? Look no further, MotoeXotica classic cars has the perfect 1958 Ford F-100 Shortbed for you.
The exterior of this F-100 features the original paint that has been clear-coated to save the look of the patina, chrome hubcaps, as well as new glass (including the larger rear window), rubber, weatherstripping, and a wing window delete kit, giving the side windows a slightly different style. The trim is in good condition, with a few imperfections seen up close.
On this inside, the black and copper seat is in very good condition, as is the newer carpet. This truck still retains its original fuel tank behind the seat, although it does have a new fuel pump. The 3-spoke steering wheel is in good condition as is the dashboard and gauges but the horn is inoperable.
The engine is an upgrade from the original Ford unit, being what is understood to be a 330 CI Oldsmobile V8, as told by the previous owner (we have not checked). Behind that is a 3-speed manual transmission. New parts include a clutch, as well as brakes and brake master cylinder.
The Ford F-Series was first introduced for the 1948 model year, and is still in production today! The third-generation ran from 1957 to 1960 and was a huge upgrade from the previous second generation trucks, design wise.
This truck is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 5,103 miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
