1971 Ford F250 Camper Special. Original Paint. 360ci/ 4 speed. Runs
1971 Ford F-250 Camper Special Description
Up for your consideration is this 1971 Ford F250 Camper Special. It is a pretty straight truck for a 1971 model. It does run with an alternate fuel source and has oil pressure. The fuel pump is gummed up where the filter cartridge is installed on the pump. Even with running the motor off of an alternate fuel source it starts easy. No signs of any knocks out of the motor and it goes into it's gears like it's suppose to( only driven in back yard). The drive train is a Ford 360CI motor with a manua, floor mounted, 4 speed. The windows roll up and down easy and the wing windows work.It sports the original 1971 paint and has a great KS patina to it. The doors open and close easily without any binding or misalignment problems. The old Ford pickup rolls easily and the brakes work but are weak. All 4 tires have good tread and hold air, they do have some weather checking. It needs a driver side manifold gasket and some new manifold bolts. The tailgate works and hasn't had the snot beat out of it, the bed rails also. All of the lights work except for the passenger headlight that burnt out when I turned it on. It made me sad that it did that. Has the original ignition and key along with a locking gas cap. Clean and clear KS title. If the new owner will be in need of a delivery service I am available to do that job for $1.25/ Loaded mile. My zip is 67218. I have several years of flatbed experience and the vehicle would be transported on a 2014 20' Rice Trailer car hauler. If you are local and want to stop by and take a look I am willing to show the Ford. F250 is also for sale locally, I reserve the right to end auction with notice.Thank you for your time.
