1967 Ford Bronco Description

This is the first of the legendary Broncos. It was designed as a compact package, but was also built "Ford tough", which made it an instant hit. It remains as popular today as ever with the off-road crowd who frequently upgrade them like this one has been. This truck is muscular and built to have fun in.
The first thing you notice about this truck as you approach it is the lift. Clearance is important for playing off road, and this truck has it. Let's describe it from the bottom up. The 35X12.50 tires jump right out at you, and you can clearly see the race bred suspension providing some of the lift in the fender wells. The body is also lifted another inch and a half over the frame for even more obstacle clearance and fiberglass "bulged" fender kits are mounted onto the stock steel body front and rear. The factory bumpers and grill look great and fit right in, and a hood scoop finishes off the body treatment. Paint it all U.S. military Marine Blue and you have a great looking Bronco. But wait, there's more! A custom, full roll cage, both makes a statement, and provides the framework for a full soft top with soft doors and tinted windows.
Step into this truck through those soft doors, (or just step into this truck if they're not there) and you will see that the inside of this truck is built for fun too. Very comfortable racing buckets provide seating for the driver and navigator. The dash is a simple but effective affair with all the gauges to keep track of critical functions. The center console has a Cheetah shifter to take command of all the awesome under the floorboards, and it also has a nice locking center console for your valuables. There is a custom stereo system with separate amp and a speaker box behind the rear seat. After all, you may be the only one able to get to the field on the other side of the creek and you gotta have some music, right? The rear seat is the original bench, recently recovered, with nice arm rests and there are grab bars built into the cage for use during those creek crossings.
Powering all this fun is a fresh 460 cubic inch V8 with huge amounts of reliable torque so you can have confidence that you will be able to get back from wherever you got yourself to. Keeping it cool on the trip is an aluminum radiator outfitted with electric fans. An automatic trans lets the torque converter do the slipping instead of a clutch, and handles the transfer of power very nicely. Run it all through the transfer case and differentials to another great feature of this truck, the suspension. A radius rod front suspension is a big reason this truck is so popular. It allows the use of coil springs which gives the Bronco a tight turning circle and long wheel travel. The rear suspension is a Hotchkiss design with the leaf springs mounting on top of the axle. Superwinch manual hubs are a nice touch and Race Runner dual shocks with remote reservoirs provide control. It all hits the ground through Crager Soft 8 wheels and 32X12.50R15 tires.
You deserve a new toy. Come on down and take a look at this one. Then take it home and play with it.
