Well built 1940 Ford Deluxe Tudor..... A true driver and show car all in one. Has the trophies to show for it.
This car has approximately 5k miles on the restoration.. Runs great and such a great highway cruiser. You can go to shows both near and far, drive up and across on Route 66.
- Chverolet 350 V-8 crate motor, 330 hp.- Elderbock 4 barrell carb- Ceramic headers,- Electronic ignition- Electric cooling fans- Air Conditioning-All side and rear glass is shaded/tempered- Tilt steering wheel- Alternator, 12v- Motor and accessory chrome- Dual exhaust-- LED Front turn signals / LED tailights- Rear trunk handle plate light assy rebuilt
- GM 350 automatic trans- New balanced driveshaft- Left and right leaf spring suspension with Ford 9" rear differential-Disc brake front (Mustang II type front end assembly.)
All components were new or rebuilt when installed..... It was all done professionally.
When I acquired this nice car, I went forward and made it great. New bumpers, replaced some trim, acquired 1940 uncirculated CA license plates.. New bushings for the front end, installed the electronic speedometer.
Totally rust / rot free California car. It did live in Phoenix for a few years but came home..
As for the flames, they were well done and go from plum purple pearl to emerald pearl green, depending on the lighting and angle..... Very impressive work..
