Here is one rare truck to still see on the road and not stripped down! Work takes me out of the country and I will be unable to see this project through to where I wanted to go with this old girl, so I am hoping she finds the right new home.
This is a real gem, you are looking at a super-cab, short-bed, Ford F-250, with the 460 7.5L V8 motor. 4X2, unknown original mileage, clean and clear Texas blue title. Truck has had plenty of money invested lately. New battery, new tires, new wheels, new radiator, new front bumper, new rear bumper, all kinds of little things here and there have been replaced. Still an unfinished project, but runs and drives and starts on point. More importantly, the 460 idles in near silence for being the original motor. No smoke, grinding, or any engine shaking whatsoever. This truck is a healthy girl, it just needs the cleaned up body work, paint job, suspension work, wiring clean up, second fuel tank hooked up, and some interior refurbishment. The ground work for this project has really been laid down for the new owner and as you can see by the photos, it could be much more damaged or used like many laying in junk yards in pieces these days. The photos tell the story on this one. Many of these trucks are going for a fortune fully restored so here is the chance for someone to get their groundwork purchased at a bargain of actual value. Please understand, this is a 100% running and driving project truck. Do not expect perfection, since she has seen her use and is now 40 years old.
