1960 Ford Falcon 4 Door Sedan
1960 Ford Falcon tudor Description
This car is a survivor, an econobox classic somebody thought to hold on to. Since purchasing this car I've redone the carpet, leaving the good condition door panels and rough seats untouched (just pinned an old saddle blanket over the front bench) and installed a four speaker pioneer sound system (with aux cord) in a minimally intrusive fashion that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb inside the old school interior. Along with all that inside the engine has seen a full refresh, booting the lethargic 144 straight six for a rebuilt 200 6 from a 1969 mustang, to make the car better suited for reliable daily use. Other mechanical refreshes come from a pertronix ignitor electronic ignition which simplifies tuning and a GM alternator conversion to support electronic add ons (solid 14.5 volt output). The paint is original except for the front left fender and right passenger door and a bit of touch up in the lower rear quarters, will notice it if your looking but looks good; otherwise the ready of the body shows patina in spots but is rust free. This car is wonderful and served as my daily driver when it was warm, highway driving a city traffic no problems. Fantastic around town car, rear main seal leaks.
