1962 Ford Galaxie Description

I bought this car in 2015 because it looked really cool, was crazy clean, and isn't a car that breaks the bank. It was tricky for me to drive on bias ply's with front runners, I guess I'm too young. So.. I put some modern wheels and tires on (New Shelby wheels/ Nitto tires, very nice). It looks very "pro touring" now, but I saved the original wheels and tires, as did I save the tall third member (4.11) when I put in a new Moser 3.50 posi unit. It has the whole "Lightweight" thing going, (fiberglass bumpers and hood) I have actually picked up local cruise in trophies with this thing (once in it's drag race trim even while parked next to a mint '63 Galaxie!) This car earned me a speeding ticket, not only does it look fast, it travels down the road nicely at highway speeds. It has new ride tech shocks and was expertly aligned to the modern wheels and tires, but you can bring back the nostalgic dragster look in about a half hour. This is a cool all around car that is completely rust free from living it's whole life in Tucsan Arizona until it came to my heated and air conditioned warehouse in 2015. Whatever the future holds for this baby, starting with a rust free shell is the key. Low Reserve....Happy Bidding!!
