This is a fun convertible you could do a restoration to or use it basically like it is. It started life as an M code 351 automatic with Power disc brakes. It now hasas of about the last few years or so an87 GT 302 with a top loader 4 Speed with a new clutch andHurst shifter. As the last owner of the car described to me back when i bought it he did the swap and did the following,, swapped over all the older related parts to convert to proper belts and mechanical fuel pump, swapped to carb intake and Holly carb. It also now has electronic ignition. The motor runs strong and sounds great. He also installed a floor shift steering column so it would look correct. Tires were put on a set of chrome Factory cobra jet wheels. Although the speedowas not hooked up during the swap the car has been used every summer since but as i say it hasn't gone a ton of miles since the swap. I understand all this was done over the past years and the car has gone about a few thousand miles or so since then.

The car runs strong The brakes were freshened up a few years back along with a power booster. The body is very solid and looks decent. Has a few pimples in the green paint behind the front right wheel but not very noticeable. Otherwise the paint showsalrightwith small dings and chips from age, i'm sure parts of it have been painted over the years. I would paint the car if your very fussy. I had a new convertible top put on last year. The power top functions very well. The boot is in the trunk. I would classify this car as a fun useable driver that you could restore or just use basically like it is. If I was to keep it I would probably do an alignment as the steering wheel doesn't sit exactly in the centeras seen in one of the inside pics and also possibly fix a small exhaust leak otherwise the exhaust sounds great as it was upgraded in the past to duals. Inside the am-fm works along with the blowe, wipers and most outside lights look to work well. One of the pictures of the front seat shows a small window crank knob that came off. the window operates fine but the knob came off. Also the left door panel has a tear in it. Underneath the car looks extremely solid as pictured.

Please feel free to come verify my description and view the car before bidding. AS usual vehicle is sold as is. Vehicle was registered in my name. Connecticut uses the title and registration as one. That and a bill of sale will be given for ownership transfer.

A 300. paypal deposit due immediately at auction end.
