1960 Ford F-100 Panel Description

This was built by a father and son in the 1990's. Son passed away in 2015 and father had it at a local farm in storage. Was not run for almost 10 years. I bought it to use as a camper with my kids, but have just found a old camper and they wanted it more. Our new project is the last pic. I have put front brakes, rubber lines, repacked bearings and new seals. New hoses, plug wires, battery and cables, starter relay, and 2 tires. Just put on a NOS rear plate light. Runs, shifts and drives good. could use shocks and 2 more tires to be roadworthy as they are dry. I have only driven it 20 miles or so after working on it the past few months. 10 years ago they had an issue with a rusty gas tank and put a temporary tank behind the seat to run it and still needs a tank.
Body is good for age, but is a driver and not a show car. Has some waves from body filler and has a few small dents. Front end frame is stubbed from a chevy truck that the drive train was from. 1972 chevy 402 and 400 auto with the 12 bolt posi rear. Previous owner said the panel was from Ca. Probably why it is clean and only has some rust underneath. Interior and floor is good for age. Has deluxe dash gauges. Rear doors open and close well and have original door stop hardware with 2 settings. Side doors open and close well and glass is good. ATLAS can be seen under the paint from the old advertising hand painted letters that were on the side. This is a clean project that runs and drives. Work on it a little as you enjoy it. These panels trucks are normally in rough shape.
