1936 Ford 2 door slantback delux Description

This is a 1936 Ford 2 door slantback I am selling for a customer. He has been building it for years and brought it to us to do the finishing on the steering and brakes. It has all the best parts available from the time he started building it till now. It has never been driven until yesterday. EVERYTHING is new. The engine has a 4 inch stroker crank making it about 259 cubic inches. Offenhauser heads and two 2's intake from Speedway Motors. It runs and sounds perfect. The transmission is a Summit C4 and the shifter is Lokar. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 3.36 gears. Four link suspension with coil overs and power disc brakes. Steering is a manual Mustang II rack and pinion. All the glass is softray tinted and the windshield still cranks out. The door windows are power. The interior was just finished last week and is flawless. Beautifully done from top to bottom by Romans' upholstery in Auburn, California. The gauges are Speedhut and made for this car. I'll still put a few more miles on the car before it is delivered to the next owner just to make sure everything is right. All the body and fenders are Henry Ford metal. To see and drive the car, call Bruce or Skyler at 916-652-6852 weekdays from 8:30 to 4:00. We are about 15 miles east of Sacramento just off Highway 80 going towards Reno, Nevada. If you have any questions or need more photos of something, use the "Ask the Seller a Question" feature in this ad or call us. It is being offered for about a third of what it cost to build. Very reasonable reserve. Thanks for looking.
