Fuel System

New fuel tank (undercoated)

New sending unit

New fuel lines (aluminum, so they won't rust)

Braided fuel line in engine bay and anodized fittings

Engine

Engine is a 302. Machine work was done by Richard at Hy Performance in Brighton, TN.

Block was bored 30 over. Crank was turned 10 10. Heads were worked at the same time as the block.

Engine has less than 100 miles since rebuild. Running Valvoline VR1 along with additional ZDDP-4 since this is a flat tappet cam motor.

I have put new: Oil pump and shaft, pistons, rings, lifters, cam - Crower Baja Beast, timing set, felpro gaskets, water pump, radiator,Hoses(gates), harmonic balancer, distributor (had rebuilt), clutch, pressure plate, flywheel (resurfaced), thrust bearing, motor mounts.

Dual exhaust system. The truck isn't loud, it has a nice low rumble.

Engine was painted the proper color for the year using high temperature ceramic paint. Fender aprons were removed and painted.

Inside of firewall was painted. I added a large tachometer and have it attached to the steering column.

Interior

Seat re-padded and upholstered. $300

Dash cover.$250

Wheels and tires. $800

Passenger side floor board cutout and replaced. $200

New OEM rubberized floor covering. $175

Horn pad $60

Herculiner bed liner. $100

White diamond plate bed trim. $100

I listed it with 2500 miles. I don't have any idea how many original miles are on the truck.

The odometer has 6500 and it has been less than 2500 since all the work was done on it.

THE BAD

There is nothing major.

  • dent on lower right side bed near door.
  • speedometer iserratic it works sometimes, sometimes goes crazy.
  • turn signal indicator on dashdoesn't work(turn signals outside do work)
  • dash lights work but are dim
  • no horn
  • slow leak onpower steering (this is the only leak and it just started)
  • passenger side door rattles and needsadjusting or new weatherstripping.
  • gasgauge works but is not accurate, othergauges work properly.
  • very minor rust on bottom of some lower panels
  • slack in steering as all old ford trucks have
  • paint is original so it has lots of flaws
  • I HAVE TRIED TO INCLUDE EVERYTHING.PLEASE READ IT ALL AND ASKQUESTIONS.KEEP IN MIND THAT IT IS A 43 YEAR OLD AND THERE IS NOWARRANTY.
