For sale is a restored 1931 Ford Model A Pickup. This is a late year 1931 with a steel roof and indented firewall. Truck runs and drives great. Only issue is a small oil leak from engine rear main seal. Restoration is about 5-6 years old. When the restoration was completed the truck was put back to stock, mechanically and aesthetically. The truck has the original 4 cylinder flathead engine and 3 speed transmission with 384 miles since being rebuilt. All suspension and brakes are original style, but were new with the restoration. Still has the 6 volt charging system, generator has been rebuilt in the last year. There have only been a few modification from stock. LED tail lights were added, a new intake and down draft carburetor added, new 1940 Ford wheels and Firestone bias ply tires added, lap belt seat belts added, converted front spotlight to turn signals. Everything added was done for safety to drive on the street. Truck was also converted into a Highboy look, removing the front fenders (New Brookville fenders in bare metal), running boards, splash aprons, rear fenders, and bumpers. None of the modifications that were made were permanent. All sheet metal, parts and brackets to bring this truck back to stock will be sold with this vehicle.
