1950 FORD 2 DOOR SEDAN......FLAT HEAD V8....GEORGIA CAR
1950 Ford Other CUTOM Description
IF YOU HAVE INTEREST IN A NICE 1950 FORD 2 DOOR SEDAN, this may be the one. Before coming to Tennessee the car live down south in Blue Ridge, Georgia. It is powered by a flathead V8 that runs sweet, its connected by a 3 on the tree manual transmission, decent black paint, gleaming chrome, wide white wall tires and things work. We are just a father and son operation, but we does have dealers license. We work out of a large garage here at my home. Read more about us near the end of the listing. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? I bought the car last week from a older man at Cabin Fever car show in Knoxville, TN. He bought the car for his large collection, but decided he was too old for so many cars. He bought the car from a older man in Blue Ridge, Georgia. HOW ABOUT THE TITLE? I have a clear Tennessee title in hand, it does state that last tile was from Blue Ridge, Georgia. HOW IS THE ENGINE? Its best running and starting Flat Head I have ever owned, "you could say it runs like a sowing machine". I hear no knocks or unwanted rattles. It is super clean and still the 6 volt system. It has a new carburetor, gas tank, sending unit and fuel pump. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 3 speed manual that is 3 on the tree and it shifts good. It does not jump out of gear and the clutch is smooth. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! WIPERS WORK! HORN WORKS! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! ORIGINAL RADIO MAKES NOISE, BUT DOES NOT WORK! HOW IS THE PAINT? I see no dents or dings and the body is super straight down the sides. It shines good, it does have some swirl marks in the black paint, I will try to get time to buff it. HOW IS THE CHROME? All the chrome is super nice, the only defect I see is the top out sides of the back bumper that shines good, but has blisters. HOW IS THE GLASS? All the glass looks good, I think all has been replaced other than the vent window, they have bubbles on the part that fits against the chrome. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? To me it drives great. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? It stops as good as drum brakes stop in my opinion. HOW IS THE EXHAUST SYSTEM? Its sounds real good, the glass pack mufflers sound good on it. The mufflers do not match, but the sound good and are in decent condition. HOW ARE THE TIRES? Good wide white side wall radials. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good, but not brand new, no wear or holes in the seats, the headliner is good, but has some staining on the front corners. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
