1971Ford F-250 Sport Custom 4x4. This is a low mileage 2 owner rust free black plate California truck. I am the 2nd owner and purchased the truck last year from the original owner. The truck has lived its entire life in the local area. It was purchased new at Haidlen Ford in the neighboring town of Oakdale CA. Included is the original sales contract and plate frames from that dealership. The original owners manual and warranty card are included as well as other receipts..etc.. .. Lack of proper storage and other vehicle interests forces sale of this classic truck.
Exterior: The body is very straight and free of rust and dents. The truck was repainted in the late 80's and still shows very well. The paint is shiny but does show some chips and scratches...etc.. . All exterior trim is present and in good condition for its age. All the glass is good as well. The pick up bed is in very good condition and not beat to death like most old trucks.
Interior: The interior is mostly original and in very good condition. The seat was recently redone. The truck is equipped with working A/C. The original AM radio works. The dash is very nice but the pad is cracked.
Mechanical: Very low miles on a professionally rebuilt 390 V8(originally had a 360). The 4 speed transmission shifts great and the clutch feels good with no slipping. The 4 barrel carburetor was recently replaced with a Carter AFB. All terrain radial tires have deep tread. There is a new master cylinder.. new front brake shoes and wheel cylinders. The truck is in excellent mechanical condition and could easily be a daily driver. A few things I noticed that should be addressed... a minor exhaust leak and the brakes need to be readjusted...other than that the truck runs and drives great.
