1963 Ford Ranchero Description

For sale is a very rare 1963 Ford Ranchero factory equipped with the optional 260 V8 and factory 4 speed. It is estimated that 99 of these total were built according to the Ford website dedicated to these trucks. A registry exists of the known survivors and this truck is listed on the registry. This truck was built at Ford's San Jose assembly plant and has resided in California's central valley its entire life. It is a two owner truck before me. The amazing part about this particular truck is the lack of rust. Virtually every one of these still in existence has rusted out and/or patched floors. This one still has its original floors which have been coated with POR 15 rust preventative. Please look at the photos of the truck I have attached of the underside of this truck. Pretty much amazing. The truck does need a cosmetic restoration including the paint and seat recovered. It runs well, smooth and quiet and does not smoke. I invite any one looking for one of these to come see it in person and to drive it. This is probably the best one in existence still awaiting cosmetic restoration. The truck will be listed for sale locally and I do reserve the right to end this auction early. As it is an old truck, it is for sale as is where is without a warranty.
