1951 Ford F-100 Description
Up for auction is a 1951 Ford F-1 pickup. This pickup has a small block 350 v8 engine. We were told it was rebuilt, but we cannot guarantee that as it was done before we acquired it. The motor is sitting on half-a---- motor mounts. Will need to be properly mounted. We were also told it is sitting on a Bronco chassis. The frame is very solid with no spots of rust damage, only surface rust. The body has some dents throughout and some rust damage in the driver side fender. Each fender was cut around by the previous owner. Maybe to fit the tires better?? Just made the fenders weaker. No hood hinges. The hood is free floating. Swap the body onto an s-10 frame, sell the Bronco chassis and motor or leave as it is and finish it! This would make a great project for someone!
Please ask for more pictures if you are unsure about something. I'm more than willing to provide more.
No title. We applied for a title through the state of Minnesota and will receive it at a later date. It does take several months to get titles back. It will be mailed to the winning bidder of this auction. The pickup will leave our property with a notarized bill of sale for the time being. Overall, it is a very sound project needing total restoration.
All vehicles are being sold in as-is condition. We do not warranty them. We do our best to give the most accurate descriptions and will disclose any information we know about the vehicle. Please ask us for more photos if you are unsure about the condition. Getting photos of the underside of a vehicle is difficult as we do not have a car lift.Buyers can make payment at any time. We accept check, money orders and Paypal.. Non-refundable deposits can also be made. A deposit will hold a vehicle for 45 days. After the 45 days, buyer will lose deposit and vehicle will be held for resale. Buyer has 45 days from the time of making full payment to collect vehicle, unless prior arrangements with us are made. After 45 days, buyer will lose vehicle and any money paid. We do not refund money. Like any other car dealer, once a car is paid for, it’s yours!
Transporting vehicle is your responsibility. We can assist in finding transport and loading vehicle. We have a skidsteer on site, but cannot drive the skidsteer onto their trailer or lift vehicle up. Please find a transporter that has a flatbed trailer and winch. We’ve had problems with transporters coming with double decker trailers. These aren’t the most suitable in hauling these old non-running vehicles. Keep in mind, transporting any vehicle will cost around $1 or less per mile from Thief River Falls, MN 56701 or Crookston, MN 56716. Please look at our location as we have two lots of vehicles in two different cities.
Some of our vehicles do not have titles. The titles were lost several years ago and the vehicles were abandoned. We can apply for and receive a title, at no cost to you, for a vehicle if it’s bought at or above reserve price. The process to receive a title back from the Minnesota DMV takes between 3 and 6 months.
Thank you
