Survivor 1967GT Fastback
One of One; Wimbledon White GT 4-SPD, A-Code with Deluxe Red Interior and Options.
Documented with Deluxe Marti Report. This isthe real deal. This Fastback is a REAL factory GT, Rare A-Code 289 4BBL, 4-Speed Manual with Tachometer, Rare Deluxe Interior, Deluxe Exterior, Fold Down Rear Seat and Super Rare Tilt Away Steering Column that actually works perfect. This car was not factory built with Air Conditioning or Power Steering; however both of those options were recently added and both work great. The car comes with a few of her original parts including her original carburetor. This car was born in San Jose, California and was optioned out like a GT350 and built with the GT350s but for whatever reason done as a GT. This car was spent her life in southern California and then to Texas. She had a partial repaint in the 80s, her original color. Some of the repaint is cracking, as you can see on the hood and on passenger fender. You can also see some of the paint chipped off on the headlight buckets and tail light extension, all typical for the old paint here in Texas with some of the summer heat. When the car was removed from storage from the family that purchased her in the 70s, the car was completely gone through, the engine was removed; serviced, seals replaced, and the original engine paint was left alone. She fires right up and drives great. The Power Steering and AC was added and both work perfect. The interior seat covers were separating at the stitching and were replaced. We would call this car a survivor but with a complete go through to make her ready to own and drive now. This starts right up, no battery drain, the Tilt away column works perfect as it activates the tilt away when you open the door. This is a true keeper investment grade desirable Fastback.
