1965 Ford Mustang Description

NEED TO SELL THIS CAR. MAKE ME AN OFFER. Will be sad to see her go, but can no longer afford to store her. This is my 1965 red A code, Ford Mustang Coupe. She has her original 289 V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine has just over 74k miles (no roll over). She has a brand new Edelbrock carburetor, nickel plated headers (won't rust), mandrel bent dual exhaust piping, flowmaster 40 mufflers and chrome tips. The whole engine and exhaust system runs great, looks great, and has a very traditional American muscle feel and sound!

The interior and exterior of this car are not original, but are very well done and look fantastic. The exterior paint is a metallic crimson, which catches the eye in nearly any light, and the interior is black leather. Although neither the interior nor exterior is perfect (minor paint chips/imperfections here and there), from 15' you would never know. This car has been absolutely babied by myself and at least the previous two owners. She's only been driven in the rain a handful of times between us, and that's just been to and from the shop. I can't remember the last time I stopped anywhere and didn't draw someone's attention, or in some cases a small crowd.

A great deal of work has been done on this car, but I personally have done the following since gaining ownership in 2015: new mini torque starter, kenwood stereo receiver (fantastic stereo system and sound in this car), coolant overflow reservoir, pony custom floor mats, stainless steel sway bar, stainless steel hood pins, backseat seatbelts, new water pump, gaskets and coolant, new Edelbrock carburetor and fuel filter, new battery, and complete rewire of the entire car, including new wiring harnesses, gauges and sensors. This car is not perfect, but damn close. The only things that do not currently work are the e-break (which I think is just in need of a simple linkage adjustment), the fan blower motor for the heater (rarely use this anyway, as I only drive on sunny days) and the horn. I am not the most mechanically inclined out there, but am happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. In addition, meticulous records have been kept on all work done on this car going back all the way to 2005! Including nearly all receipts and invoices from any work done in-shop.

Being a mustang enthusiast and having looked at a lot of these cars in the process of finding and buying this one, there are a few things that really set this car apart: She has almost no rust, she's never been in an accident (body is completely straight and there is no hidden bondo work), she's a manual, the brakes (although drum) are incredibly responsive, compared to the stomping you typically have to do with these old cars (I really have no explanation for this, but it's fantastic), she has extremely low original miles, and although all old cars have issues from time to time, she has been very reliable overall.

Car starts right up and runs smooth. NEED TO SELL THIS CAR. MAKE ME AN OFFER!
